Art Marts are sticker machines distributing 2″x4″ prints and stickers of selected works of earnest small-scale artists.
Intimately aware of the condition that an artists career options consist of 1. going into to art school debt for a degree that is unnecessary, or 2. make commercial art, and addressing the tangible knowledge that both options are failing artists, Art Marts is a prototypical business model to give artists the chance to distribute their work non-institutionally and nation-wide. Hosted in local shops, Art Marts gives exposure to artists on a larger scale while providing passive income for the hosting shop and the artist alike.
